Seasonal Fun

Cedar House Residential Care Home is all about having fun, and one thing we like to do is to ensure that we celebrate all the seasons. Whether it’s spring, summer, autumn or winter, there’s always something going on. Browse our gallery to see for yourself some of the activities we get involved in. For winter, you’ll find everything from gorgeous firework displays to Christmas celebrations, as well as some very scary Halloween masks, costumes and skilful pumpkin carvings! 

In celebration of warmer weather, take a look at our nature trip photos. Depending on mobility, our residents enjoy spending time in our grounds to admire flora and fauna or exploring further afield in the nearby countryside. You’ll also find examples of our ‘treasure hunts’ for added interest. 

Of course, the warmer weather is an excellent opportunity to venture out, and we offer a variety of day trips for Cedar House Rothley residents. Our gallery includes memories of boat and train trips, pub and garden centre visits, trips to farms with the younger generation, as well as local shows and plays. We most definitely have an action-packed calendar at Cedar House, keeping things interesting for everyone.
