We actively encourage our residents at Cedar House Residential Care Home to share their precious memories. After all, it’s known to help build communication and can be an enriching experience for everyone. They might share their memories with other residents or visiting families, providing a wonderful insight into days gone past. 

Browse our photo gallery and see how many images bring back memories for you or your loved ones. Who remembers learning to write using multiple lines or even a blackboard and chalk? And what about those hard-backed reading books, jigsaws or delicate dolls and teddy bears? You’ll see examples of our residents reminiscing while looking through old photo albums as well, making more recent memories in the home. We love to see the old black and white photos of our residents in their youth, which often prompt them to share stories of days gone by. And of course, memories at Cedar House Rothley wouldn’t be complete without remembering others – and we’ve got photos from our Remembrance Days to share with you too.
