Community

At Cedar House Care Home, we’re a community in our own right, but we’re also part of a broader community both locally and internationally. We’re actively involved in our local community and have a number of volunteers, nurseries, schools and outdoor learning centres visiting our home. 

We invite you to browse the pictures in our gallery and see how young people from our local schools participate in activities and share what they are learning in school with our residents and their families and friends. You’ll also see photos from the work we’ve done with colleges and universities where students have completed their work experience placements at our home. 

Additionally, our Charnwood care home loves to support local charities, and our gallery illustrates how we have helped through fundraising. See how our residents’ families and friends are also able to participate in fund-raising events. Having experienced the great community that we have created in and around Cedar House, we hope this will give you a sense of life here with us and how we strive hard to ensure that no one ever feels isolated.
