Charity Events

Aside from providing excellent respite care in Charnwood, Supporting charity events is also an important part of what we do here at Cedar House Care Home Rothley, and we encourage our residents and staff to participate in any way that they can. In our gallery photos, you’ll find mud-soaked staff, brave men opting to shave off beards, creative decorations and masks for local hospitals, as well as baked goodies for specific charity days. We’ve even got photos from our Last Post Project where we put our skills to the test to make our very own musical instruments to remember fallen heroes.

We support all sorts of different charities, including cancer, Children in Need and Comic Relief. See our wonderful collection of Pudsey bears, some very fetching headwear, as well as our motley collection of moustaches and glasses! We also hold coffee mornings throughout the year to raise money for various charities and to enjoy some very delicious cakes and treats.

We definitely like to get into the spirit of every occasion and really support our favourite charities in whatever way we can, as well as having fun doing it. We’ve even got photographic proof of our tap-dancing abilities with our Tapathon t-shirts!
