101st Birthday Celebrations at Cedar House in Rothley
IT’S not every day that someone turns 101!
Kathleen Bird, resident of Cedar House Care Home in Rothley, celebrated her 101st birthday with family and friends in style.
There was a big birthday bash with nibbles, cake, wine, music, cards, flowers and lot’s of balloons! She is now planning her 102nd birthday party.
Kathleen has seen a lot of changes in her lifetime and has many stories and memories to share. When asked what is the key to living a long and happy life Kathleen said – ‘family, keeping active, practising old and learning new skills’.
